I am guessing that the pills are a form of Psoralen (PUVA) which are taken before treatment to improve the skin's sensitivity to UVA light? It took 2 months before I saw significant results (ie meaning all lesions closed up, healed and no new ones appear. In a years time they were practically faded. When I lost my health insurance I could no longer afford it, and I had a flare up but no where as near as bad as the initial. Now I only have steroids creams, some times pills and UVA for the last six months. It isn't working. I had UVB for 1 year.
