I am glad I found this site. I am a gulf war vet and I have had vit for over 19 yrs. I believe it is do to the vaccines that I got when I was in Saudi along with other exposures as well. Anyway, I finally got the VA to get me a full body UVB light system and will be starting on my in home therapy in Nov when I get it all put together and go for training on how to use it. I am very excited as this disease has taken away a lot of my life of the things I use to love to do like swimming and being outdoors. I have about 25% of my body covered with vit and I really want my face to repigment more than anything else. Wish me luck.

I am doing it at home, I live in India and have bought this equipment from DERMAINDIA, my doctor suggested, I have started with 30 sec and now reached upto 1 min, I will keep u posted, this is really helpful

You can expect to see some re-pigmentation begin after 40-60 treatments. It’s a slow but typially very effective therapy. Are you doing the treatments at home or in a clinic?

I have started using UVB narrowband treatment around 2 weeks ago, I have one patch on my front leg and really want it to go…i have tried many things but nothing helped, now doctor suggested to use UVB hand help treatment…I am hoping to see some results in 2 months…please can anyone tell me if it will really help in tht much time..?
